Production Area: Apulia region, between Taranto and Brindisi
Soil: Good exposure and ventilation. Soils are mainly clayey and calcareous
Winemaking notes: The wine rests and ages for at least 6 months before bottling
Harvest time: Beginning of September
Colour: Intense ruby red with garnet hints
Aroma: A rich and expressive nose, dominated by notes of red fruits, ripe plum and cherry, blackcurrant, enriched by subtle hints of cocoa, liquorice and vanilla
Taste: On the palate it is full-bodied and velvety, offering ripe fruit flavors, gentle tannins and a lingering, elegant ethereal finish
Alcohol Content: 14,5% vol
Storage: Dry, cool and not in direct sunlight
Serving temperature: 18-20° C
Food pairing: Perfect with cold cuts, vegetable soups, pasta and cheese. It has a full body, which also pairs well with complex red meat dishes
